What a great day to be a Red Raider.  My name is Chris Arent, HS Principal at Sidney HS.  I am originally from Lincoln and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with degrees in Physical Education, Coaching and Educational Administration.  I have been married to my wife (Lori) for 18 years.  I also have a son (Skyler) and daughter (Aspen) who will be attending Sidney Public Schools this year.  I look forward to working with the students, staff and parents and becoming a part of this great community.

Mr. Mike Brockhaus

Mr. Mike Brockhaus is the Activities Director for Sidney Public Schools.   The 2012-2013 school year will be his 22nd year in Education. Mike's wife Jennifer works at Memorial Health Center in the Business Office. They have two daughters.     Mr. Paul Newland  

HS PE /Assistant HS Principal

Mr. Paul Newland teaches PE at Sidney High School and is also the Assistant HS Principal.  He is also a coach for the Red Raider football team.  The 2012-2013 school year will be his 6th at Sidney Public Schools.  He graduated from Gering High School and attended Western Nebraska Community College (Associate of Arts Degree), Chadron State College (Bachelor of Science in K-12 Physical Education) and University of Nebraska at Kearney (Masters in 7-12 Administration).  Mr. Newland comes from a family of Educators.  His brother teaches in Colorado and his mother and father taught at Banner County.  Together they have a combined 50 years of experience in education.
