IT'S A GREAT DAY TO BE A RED RAIDER!!

The calendar is available to download via the bright yellow link at the top of every month. This link will pull up the full 2012-2013 school year for all activities and is a .pdf that will print on 11X17 paper.


The monthly calendar below the link contains all the new 2012-2013 calendar art and by clicking on the photos you will be taken to a website called www.westernconferencene.org/ and here you can choose SIDNEY HIGH SCHOOL (although all SPS activities may be found through the SIDNEY HIGH SCHOOL link) This online calendar will be updated as changes arise. The calendar has options to filter out events you would like to view and then download, print, send to an Email address. There is a "notify me" tab that will allow you to sign up to be notified for any changes made to events you wish to subscribe to. There is also a "subscribe" tab that will allow you to sync with various RSS feeds, iCal, Google and Outlook calendars. These two options may not function correctly until August 2012.

The printed activity calendars will still be available when school starts but this will hopefully help you start planning for the 2012-2013 school year now. It's going to be another AMAZING year at Sidney Public Schools! Please let me know if you have any problems with any of the links above.

The purpose of the Creating Captains Shooting Camp is to provide participants the opportunity to develop discipline and character to strengthen inner qualities and grow as individuals in a team atmosphere. Also, to provide participants the opportunity to learn and improve their basketball shooting knowledge and skills, under the guidance of experienced basketball players. Each participant will come away with a better understanding of the great game of basketball. The camp is designed to meet each player's needs at a particular position.

Complete care will be taken by all instructors to ensure the safety of all camp participants. This is a NON CONTACT camp and each drill is designed with the safety of the athlete in mind.

Players need only wear tennis shoes and appropriate athletic attire.

What:  Kids Plus, Inc. and Teens In Prevention are hosting the first annual  Youth Leadership Summit . Students across the Panhandle are invited to participate in an interactive leadership and advocacy training that will prepare them as leaders to mobilize their peers around specific issues, such as media awareness and policy change that will improve the climate in their schools and communities.

Who:  9^th - 11^th grade high school students

When: Saturday, July 27^th from  9:00am to 4:30pm

Registration begins at  8am . Lunch is provided.

You must register for the event by Friday, July 15^th.
