Below I have listed a brief description of the course offered in my classroom.
The basic objectives of the Spanish curriculum are based on the student having the opportunity to conduct real-life communication in a second language, to become a global citizen and to develop critical thinking skills for life. |
![]() Spanish I: This class will offer students though basic instruction the ability to begin to communicate in basic conversations through an acquisition of basic vocabulary and cultural concepts that will lead to an understanding of what it means to be a global citizen. The instruction will be accomplished by using a blend of interpretation of the written and spoken language on a variety of topics. The methods of instructions will include paired and group settings, cooperative learning, lectures and many situational activities. Students will be expected to express basic concepts in a variety of topics. There will be approximately 2 1/2 hours of homework each week.
