Safety is our top priority. We have secure campus entry points, regular emergency drills, and on-site staff trained in emergency response. Our visitor management system ensures that all guests are signed in and monitored.
Registration is straightforward and can be done online or in person at the school office. Required documents include proof of residence, birth certificate, and immunization records.
Technology is integrated to enhance learning, with resources such as interactive whiteboards, tablets, and educational software that support students' digital literacy and engagement.

District Description
The Sidney Public School District has five attendance centers that educate approximately 1250 students in grades PreK-12. In addition to providing a solid foundation in the core subjects, the District also offers before/after/summer school enrichment programs for students in grades K-6, dual credit secondary course offerings, and a wide variety of extra-curricular programs. We are continuing to build a strong PreK-12 Career Pathways program exposes students to extended learning opportunities in and outside of the classroom. Student performance has been strong as evidenced by state assessment proficiency scores. The District employs an excellent staff who make a positive impact on students everyday.
Sidney Public Schools is proud to announce that the district has been rated Excellent on the Nebraska Department of Education’s 2024–2025 AQuESTT accountability system—Nebraska’s highest rating.
Nebraska statute requires the State Board of Education to maintain an accountability system that evaluates school performance using multiple indicators. In response, the Nebraska Department of Education, with extensive stakeholder input, developed the Accountability for a Quality Education System, Today and Tomorrow (AQuESTT) framework. AQuESTT serves as both an accountability model and a system of support built around six key tenets. Under AQuESTT and ESSA, Nebraska provides statewide accountability results in two ways:
