KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
If your child is 5 or will be before July 31, 2022 he/she is eligible to register for Kindergarten at Sidney Public Schools. We are beginning our registration process earlier than our Activity Calendar states.
Registration will be all online starting February 1, 2022. You may use the link above (hot pink button) to register your son/daughter. Please DO NOT use the green button below as this is for the current school year (2021-2022.) Additionally, there is a place below you can upload your son/daughter's birth certificate and immunization records to Central Elementary. You may upload documents or you may take a photo of your document and upload as a photograph. Appointments can be made for parents to come in to complete paperwork if our online process isn't an option. Sidney Public Schools has transitioned Kindergarten Registration (Kindergarten Roundup) to an online registration. Children must be 5 years old by July 31st to be eligible for kindergarten.
Registration can be completed by accessing the REGISTER NOW button on the left side of this page. *Be sure to complete the health form after the student information form. Once you’ve completed and submitted the registration form, you will need to complete and submit the health registration form.
In Nebraska children must have a physical, vision and dental exam prior to the start of the school year. The exam forms to take along to these appointments can be accessed and printed from link on the left side of this page.
Once the public health measures have been lifted parents will be contacted and asked to bring in final registration paperwork for their child including a state issued birth certificate and a copy of their immunizations. *Children must
be up-to-date with immunizations or have an immunization waiver PRIOR
to the start of school. If your child is behind on immunizations, they
must be compliant per the immunization ‘catch up’ schedule.
